My favorite piece in a while. Working with Andy to transform our 1000 sq foot studio into a living, breathing lagoon makes me excited for the future of CH originals with really elaborate art direction. Not to mention our phenominal puppeteer, James Wojtal.

Such an honor to be interviewed among DP’s like Ed Lachman, directors like Michel Gondry, actors like Ben Stiller, and tons of other extremely talented professionals. If you don’t know it, Making Of is an incredible resource for aspiring filmmakers. A million thanks to new friends, Weston and Andy.

The hospital sketch originally began as a live sketch; we loved it so much we had to throw it up, um….in.

SHORT SHORTS: Guy Throws Up Telling Details.

This one is especially Vintastic.

Enjoy!

Life is good.

Ahhhh! I love this episode, I love this episode, I LOVE THIS EPISODE. Believe it or not, the wizard scene was shot on the coldest night of the year, practically in a wind tunnel. I had this great idea to use the Irish Hunger Memorial downtown for it’s raw, primative look. Little did I consider it was right on the river. Sorry crew. God only now does it feel worth it.

SHORT SHORTS: Wizard Drink’s Knight’s Piss

This one’s extra silly. Because a wizard drinks a knight’s piss.

Digg it!

Nothing makes me laugh harder than making up names with Josh. Period.

The Slumdog Price is Right. Come on down… to India. Written by me and Jeff, directed by Sam. My favorite kind of CH Original, the “whoa! legit short film” kind. If you like it, digg it.
first off, i would never use my real name, Jake.

BIG changes.

BIG changes.

Is the last short a joke? I can’t tell. It made me laugh really hard when we were shooting it though.

SHORT SHORTS: Slasher Murders Couple In Park

This is a bloody good one.

I’m automatically biased to like anything in which I play a hatchet-wielding psycho. Truly, though, one of my favorite Short Shorts.

YES.

Six hours of lighting, sixteen fixtures in the air, and eleven takes. Enjoy our music video in one shot.

Don’t Stop Your Screaming

Another week, another song!  I dig this one a lot, not only for the music (which came out so close to the original) but also for the video, which was truly inspired.  Sam and Vinny did a mean, mean job here.  Jon and Lindsay are also great.  My sister, Heidi, gave me a line in the song, too.  So thank you, Heidi, for “Some will sing, some will booze.”

Up next: a Beatles parody.

And as always, Digg it and help the rest of the Internet see the video

So this video is a little special because I had this EXACT idea at the same time Streeter did. However he was able to write it quicker. Mine was called: “Please Stop The Singing” It took place in a bar with two people singing karaoke and it was all about how everyone loves this song but no one can sing it right and everyone gets super cheesy when it comes on… So yeah! Streeter’s lyrics are way better than mine were though.

One shot videos mean I don’t get to edit… So instead I did the subtitles for you to sing-a-long to!

Enjoy!

Where’s Waldo? Look for a blonde in the second row with a peace sign shirt! This was such a fun afternoon; you would never know it was close to 90 degrees in the bar.
