Vincent Peone

I am a filmmaker.

I make these: collegehumor.com

and these: dutchwest.tv

POV: Guy Buys Condoms. I think this is the best possible way an ad sales video could go.

Directed by Josh, Produced by Dan, Edited by Matt, Makeup by Hana!

I love this idea.

Unfunny People, shot by Vince, edited by Matt, produced by Ben, directed by me. Nick Ross and Zach Lombaro kill it as Carrot Top and Gallagher, respectively.

Digg it!

A very sweet tribute.

Confession:

I really love Dutch West.

Shocker, I know. I will give you a few seconds to regain your composure.

Ready? Ok.

I have been watching a lot of fan made videos for CollegeHumor. A lot. So, I decided to go on a search for DW fan vids. I couldn’t find any. I felt this needed to be taken care of. So I did this.

These are clips from some of my favorite videos. I couldn’t get Bigfoot child molester and the Robert DeNiro back in time clips to work so they didn’t make it in :( But watch past the credits for a little extra DW.

Maybe I will have to attempt another one.

(Also, I think I need to invest in something other than Windows Movie Maker…)

This is awesome!

THANK YOU RAYANN!

Surely the sweetest thing a fan’s ever done for DW. It’s great to know folks still appreciate “old school”.

Hello darkness my old friend.

Hello darkness my old friend.

You may not know this, but I am a Star Wars lunatic. I have gone into hiding about it in recent years, but my training is almost complete, and I will soon return able to lift an X-wing using only my mind.

Stormtroopers’ 9/11. The Twin Towers and the Death Star, not so different after all. Where were you when the super-weapon fell? Written by me and Sam, directed by Sam, shot (and with a charming Jedi bartender cameo) by Vinnie. If you love America/the Rebel Alliance, you can digg it here.

Produced and served as official “nerd consultant” on this.

Today I DP’ed a pilot with Director/Producer/Actor Timothy Busfield. I was impressed going into the day with his long list of credits in mind, and left impressed by the massive amount of footage we managed to obtain in one shooting day. Granted the show has a more candid feel than the cinematic type stuff I’ve been up to recently, but still…very interesting workflow.

Josh did a bang up job directing the latest POV for Trojan.

Digg it if you like SAFE sex.

Written by Brian and Conor, produced by Ben, directed and photographed by me.

I met the lead,  Josh Brown, on set for a Time Warner Cable commercial I directed over the summer. I had the actor who almost killed Bruce Willis in “Unbreakable” drop him to the floor about 50 times in a row, so I decided I needed to throw him something easy. Then I came up with the visuals for this music video. I’m sorry for doing it again, Josh.

Day off.

Day off.

Much thanks to a total pro: Miss Erin Crumpacker.

From left to right, our talented panelists - Lewis Fowler of Untucked Films and CollegeHumor’s Josh Ruben and Vincent Peone.
These guys were incredibly engaging, providing valuable insight on present day film production, storytelling, reaching audiences and the industry exposure that comes with having a strong Web presence.  Well done, fellas!
