This is what is possible on the internet now. Cudos to Sam for dreaming this one up. I’m really proud of it (and our team) for taking an already amazing idea and turning it into something beautiful and cinematic.  Enjoy Web Site Story.

Having a little fun with the Spengs.

Vince and I ask Harold Ramis to tie some knots for the MakingOf interview
In case you were wondering, we’re in Italy and I have a black eye.

One time I was getting a blood test and the two doctors tending to me couldn’t decide which Beatle I looked like. I nearly passed out from not having breakfast that day. I guess the answer was Paul…

An astute writer, profound director, and a face of my childhood, Ramis also happens to be a very charming and extremely friendly guy. What an honor it was to sit down with a comedy legend. Thanks again to Weston, Andy, and MakingOf.

“improv is really part of the job now, it’s expected [in comedy]”- Harold Ramis on ‘Year One’

the best part of this discussion is a) Harold was interviewed by Josh Ruben and Vincent Peone and b) we have about a half dozen more videos coming out with Harold on Directing / Screenwriting / Knots / and possible a discussion on a super huge sequel? possibly.

Super Busy Thursday Push-Up Contest Results

Lots of fun, amazing getting to meet Patrick Wilson…it somehow led to helping him bring a shelf out of his apartment this past weekend.

Dr. Manhattan’s Pants, written by Pat, Ben, and Jeff, produced by Ben, shot by Vince, edited by Matt, directed (and co-starring) me. This was my dream cast. Luke Scholl as the perfect Manhattan, Charlie McWade as Rorschach, Veronika Dominczyk as Silk Spectre, Thomas Middleditch as Ozymandias. Effects turned out GREAT.

Digg it like the city needs you!

Interview for MakingOf
I’m more excited for this video’s launch than any video to date. Beat that.

Produced by Eva, directed and shot by moi. A real treat being handed such a fun script by the infinitely talented Mr. Gurewtch. I too have a place in my heart for sitcoms of my generation. I’m really happy with how this one turned out. We shot at our production coordinator Steve’s house, which included a back BBQ patio. Our production manager Bennet cooked us up some mean burgers for lunch. It was such an Americana kind of day.

Turn and Smile, a sitcom theme song about sitcom theme songs. I wrote this one, and Vinnie (!) directed. Really happy with how it turned out. Late 80s/early 90s multicamera sitcoms will always hold a special place in my heart, so this is a little love song to those shows. Digg it.
