oh my.
Mr. Warhol?
Sam and I talk process, the birth of Dutch West, and our future as filmmakers.
I’m really happy with this layout. It’s a fun way to watch the many Short Shorts we managed to shoot while making an MTV show last winter. Enjoy them in cute little bite sizes.
A genius way of presenting Short Shorts, created by Atom with Dutch West.
I had the pleasure of shooting Walter Cronkite in his office at CBS last year. Among his accomplishments were a letter from John and Jackie Kennedy thanking him for such wonderful company on one of his many visits to the White House, as well as a sketch (drawn by Walt Disney personally ) of Mickey Mouse in tears watching Walter’s last live broadcast.
He was a gruff old gentleman. He yelled at me several times to dim some of the lighting so he could read a teleprompter. At the end of the day I shook his hand and he told me “Young man you have no idea what it’s like to be old: you get grouchy and frustrated all the time. I’m sorry for being difficult today.” Then he squeezed my hand harder before he broke away and left.
NYC to Cairo: $830
thinking….
A lot of fun to shoot, and always a pleasure working with Elephant Larry.
A cool thing to note: The interview faces Dana Barrett’s apartment building on Central Park West in the not so visible distance.
The Epic 7 Minute interview with Harold Ramis on Ghostbusters 3!
(again many thanks to Josh Ruben, Vincent Peone, and Matt Pollock for pulling this off!)
YES.
While checking out some of the other AtomTV teasers, I came across this one that already aired, featuring Dutch West’s Fight Club: The Musical.
It’s true. Dutch West is taking over your airwaves Tuesday’s on Comedy Central.
Apparently we’ve been on TV for a couple months, so if you’re not doing anything next Tuesday morning at 2:30am you can watch us again.
